Kabuki statue

Anyone know when the new Kabuki statue is due out? I thought it was meant to be November but mine hasn't turned up.

I've been thinking about it too......it's the statue I'm most anticipating for this year, though we may not see it until 2006.

Is it the same scale as the original Kabuki Statue, or larger?
I've got the first Kabuki Statue, and it is dinky. I'd like it much
more if it were in scale with Magdalena and Soulfire Grace.

This one stands 12 inches I believe.

I just purchased one of the CS Moore Kabuki statues from his website last week,
and it was processed as a pre-order at that time; so, my suspicion is
"the statue's on the boat" (much like "the check's in the mail").

P.S. The website shows a shipping date of Dec 12th.

I saw a prototype at David Mack's booth in San Diego. It is indeed in scale with Magdalena, Aphrodite IX, Grace, etc.

This scale (1:6) is Moore's most common turf. The first Kabuki, sculpted for Moore by the Shifflett Bros., was an aberration in 1:9.

Thanks for the info msw313. Kinda sucks that the two Kabuki's won't match in scale,
but I'm VERY glad the new one will be 1:6 scale, and match everything else.

I may sell my first Kabuki Statue, as it is just too dinky for my liking, and all my other
statues and busts totally dwarf it on the shelf.

The scale of the new FS will also match up with the various Kabuki busts, for an awesome unified display.

You could always display the puny one away from the rest and alongside some other smaller scale pieces where she would better fit in. Still a good looking piece, despite the size.

Alas, I don't have any other pieces in my collection that small.
1/6th scale is the smallest, excluding my Fell Beast Statue.

Yes, definately. I'm planning to display mine with all the busts around the base. I sent an e-mail to the Moore website and asked about the remaining busts being made from that series and I got a reply saying that they were being planned. Whoo hoo! Butoh! Ice! Tigerlilly! Scarab!
