They probably had some extra paint left from she-dragon.

What's a "TC newsletter"? And how do I get on that list?

This is why I hate preordering (ebay, retailer, etc).

I pre-ordered this product based on the original color scheme posted at CSMoore.

Now there's the possibility that the color scheme has been changed?

Jesus.... Christ.....

These types of last-minute product changes is the reason I stopped buying from another manufacturer.

The payoff after going through the pre-order process and waiting just wasn't worth it any more.

Good point dude. we all pre-ordered this thinking we would be getting what was depicted in the pictures at the time. I dont understand how anyone could justify changing the color scheme once they have everyone's down payment. thats just theivery. But let's not jump to any conclusions until we hear more about this. Anyone have any updates?

I don't we mind so much about the base since it's completely different either way, but the paint application is what does get us.

TC is the Top Cow newsletter, actually it's the Moosletter or something clever like that. Just go to the Top Cow site and sign up for it.

As far as variants go, I don't think this will be "yet another" variant. I like when Clay does variants personally. The manner in which he does it is what I like. Otherwise we'd be sitting here complaining about him doing a re-issue and I know how much we all love those.

AP's are another animal entirely. They are not really variants. Clay chooses to do something different on AP's to make them a little more special. He doesn't like to just re-issue pieces. The AP's usually have gems of some sort and minor paint changes.

Lets just wait and see what gets said about the paint before we go nuts. Give them that courtesy at least. I mean this is Clay we're talking about here and he tends to not disappoint the fans with his work.
