PCS Amazon Exclusive??

So I found a 1/4 Ryu on Amazon for $199 and bought it.

Received it today and found something interesting so I wanted to reach out to my fellow collectors for some info.

The base/COA/Box didn't have the number on it, just a sticker that said "PCS Amazon Exclusive"

Have any of you seen this before???

Seems to me like PCS is selling extra statues outside of the edition for extra cash.... whether or not its the new owners or old I wouldn't know... I included pics.

I think these guys will sell just about anywhere to try and get rid of extra stock.

I think I drove past Ant one day, he had a blanket laid down on the lawn in front of the K-Mart with a bunch of claimed to be sold out statues spread around for sale.

It just says "Sold by: Amazon.com Services, Inc " on my order... This isn't even worth keeping in my opinion.. there was a paint scratch on the arm anyways...

Basically what I take from this is that edition size means nothing in these lines....

I think I'm officially done with PCS. I already have my klassic MK statues which are my gems. Im just gonna stick to my Marvel/DC stuff with sideshow, etc.

I really just wanted to put this information out there. I feel the consumers deserve to know everything and I never came across this in the forum before.

PCS always made extras, maybe just too many. But wow, didn't know they were dumping them on Amazon too.

Bowen did something similar with replacement pieces. Only they signed them as APs. I don't really see a problem with it personally...as long as it's a very limited amount. No idea how many PCS is throwing out there.

Wish this were the case. When my Conan base started caving in they told me "so sorry, due to the limited nature of this item,, there are no replacements for your defective item"

A company that can't handle a defective (majorly defective) item gets no second chances and no free pass from me.
