Frazetta has had paintings go for over 5 million before. This one doesn't seem surprising.

I just looked at his drawings on the internet and I really like some of them.
What I like very much are the black and white drawings. Especially Tarzan.

The black and white drawings don't get nearly the attention of the paintings, but some of them are amazing. I would highly recommend getting one of the many art books out there.

I bought a page out of one of his old sketch books from his son Bill with COA. It is just rough sketches but even that cost me $1,800. Finished sketches go anywhere from $5,500 to $50,000 on Heritage Auctions. At least that is the range I have seen. Have attached the sketch page I bought and own.

I didn't know that his drawings and pictures were in such high demand and that they fetch such prices.
