This is standard for BBTS to charge more and then do "only $4 S&H" as marketing tactic.

It's not always done for all pieces, and it's usually $10-$15. I'm really surprised at this $25 bump, considering the size and price of the statue.

$25 is TH shipping so it makes sense to me. It is $100 on 1:3 pieces I've checked on when comparing.

I've never looked at big scale stuff. They few times I've compared when seriously shopping, there was no mark up, so.....

Yea, I noticed the same thing. There are markups on XM and P1 pieces, but not on all the pieces they sell.
This is the first time I've seen a markup on TH pieces.

Strange that the Reg & exclusive were supposed to be the same price, but Sideshow is charging a premium for the exclusive. Just another hit for international customers who have supported Tweeterhead & the MOTU line.
That aside Teela is breathtaking & a successful, bleary eyed 1.30 AM pre-order!

So it turns out I didn't need to stay up til 2am to secure this.
Doesn't matter. Still worth it.
I had largely stopped buying statues... ran out of room years ago. But I'm happy to clear space for this Teela. (Goodbye alien warrior bust.) Makes me wonder what they could do with Beast Man and Skeletor (Hordak does nothing for me), and how well the line might scale with PCS's 1:4 Battle Cat.
