They're saying that since they cast a black man to play Kang they're gonna cast a black guy to play Reed Richards because in the comics they're related. I'm not familiar with Kang's origins. But that's what I read. They already have names attached to the role. It's not a racist issue. You want black and Hispanic super heroes then make new ones. Certain roles you can cast a different race and it's not the end of the world but in other cases it doesn't work. A big part of the reason the last FF4 movie bombed is because of the Jordan casting and all the other things they changed for no freaking reason. People don't want to talk about that because of the race issue. But it is what it is. Allot of people were upset with the Jordan casting. The backlash was significant. It definitely contributed to that film tanking. It never had a chance.
Although many comic book fans are liberal and SJW casting doesn't bother them which boggles the mind. You can't cast a black guy to play Thor. You can't have an Asian Superman. There's just certain things you just can't do. if they cast a white dude to play Luke Cage people would lose their minds. This is the same thing. it's a fair comparison.
Anyway, I hope it's just rumors.
