Yes, certainly this statue will be delivered to the doors of collectors by their respective shipping carriers. When I order statues with a large "box footprint" I pick them up from my local shipping facility to prevent the box from being handled no more than it has to, in order to prevent potential shipping damage. In my experience (your experience may be different) with shipments, the larger boxes tend not to receive the same level of care as smaller boxes during transit.

I do the same with every statue. Never had an issue. Better safe than sorry with these things!

The DHL hub mine is arriving at is an hour away from me, on a toll highway.

Delivery is scheduled for Wednesday.

Any video or pics of this in hand yet from other people? That one YouTube review that was out a couple months back seems to be gone now. Anyone know the diameter of the base?

That reviewer claimed the base was 18" diameter and 7.5" tall.

Haven't seen any other in hand pics yet, but 'm not on social media other than these forums.

The best I'll be able to offer is some lousy flash photos from my phone's camera.

But I'll take pics of the box and packing so people can see what's what there.

Time to box up Daredevil and put him in storage for a while.

Picked up Thor this morning from my local DHL facility. As suspected the box sustained a great deal of wear and tear on its journey to the US. Hopefully, I will have pics and actual dimensions later tonight.

Damn. Congrats on a great #.

DHL sent me multiple messages that this was going to be delivered on Wednesday- so of course they delivered it this morning.

Would have liked to have seen them drop it off, but I missed it. They did, of course, ignore the "this side up" icon and left it on it's side.

I can't unpack it until I do some major reorganizing so it looks like Merovingian is gonna get the first pics up.

I'll be looking forward to seeing those along with everyone else.
