Hey, thanks for the helpful feedback. Dao2, I would also prefer they remove the drool from the dx version. It looks silly imo. Python, yes, I am already on the wait list for the Mamegyorai piece. I had gotten laid off from work as soon as it went up on the SS site. Talk about bad timing.

The movement pose on the P1 reminded me of the SS premium format big chap, and I never really liked that pose, but that was just an initial thought. I'm not a fan of the slab like back either, but I can deal with it. I think someone was right when they previously stated that they might have listed this as a wall hanger to get around some licensing issues. I keep both versions open in 2 tabs every day so I can go back and forth and compare them. It's almost maddening.

They removed the drool pretty swiftly after adding it due to the feedback, nobody seemed to like it (I didn't either) They just never updated all of the images.

They said they would but haven't seen any new pics of it, I'm fine with waiting until it releases to order.

Finally gave in and ordered the DX, seeing as there is an ES I'm not risking missing this one

If the wall is removable and doesn't leave any unsightly holes where those cables plug in, I'd be tempted.

Prime 1 may have dug themselves into a bit of a rut with this "wall art" loophole. On one hand, you'd need a truly heavy slab for wall mounting. On the other hand, the piece is so enormous that only a fraction of buyers will do that - and most people going for a tabletop display would probably prefer a lighter wall if they attach it at all.

They could include an alternate wall that's shorter. That would take care of the gap in the back of the base and give the cables somewhere to go.

It's been confirmed by P1 that the wall is removable.
