Bowen Prices on the rise

well the Silver Surfer I got off Ebay but the Sub-Mariner statue I got from the StatueMarvels site.

I also held off on putting anything on Ebay for quite a while but I eventually gave in and with the exception of having my Nova statue returned (there was a paint blemish on the bottom of his foot and under his arm that I did not notice) I (knock on wood) have never had an issue selling. (And I reposted the Nova statue for the exact same price and it did sell almost immediately - I think it was a statue flipper that saw a good deal and wanted to resell it at a much higher price.)

I was packing my statue collections from my room. And noticed the Bowen statues are nice and solid. The paint applications and the packing box was superb.

Ebay is probably your best bet at getting as many eyes as possible on an item. Forums and FB only have so many people looking at BST.

Really common statues you’ll have to price just under retail to get them out the door on eBay. I’ve sold 45 in last 2.5 years and fast.

Easy sells are rare exclusives and low ES characters ( not crappy characters ) as a low ES doesn’t always mean it sells fast. Here’s a list of easy sells if prices fairly . You’ll still line your pockets with profit and these will go fast:

Mr sinister
Havok
Wolverine x belt
Storm punk
Wendigo
Spider verse
Cable on sentinel
Bishop
Thor
Black panther

Etc etc you see pattern here . Also htf busts sell too

What did I learn
1) shipping is important to the seller he puts that into total price of what he is buying so a 150 statue w 50 ship is worth $200 to the buyer
2) prices can vary even on the same statue, these prices were all within 30 days of each other. Luke cage for example with shipping sold for between 190 and 279 thats quite a spread. Moon knight 225 to 325
3) on average a $200 bowen is going to sell. Take quicksilver he on average sold around 200
4) you really need to know your prices
5)Bowens still command some good money
