I hope that final bid is true, and they pay for the Art Adams Death piece. Crushed the charity with 20K.

It's the most beautiful piece of "comic" art I have seen in a long time.

Yeah, Art's piece will hold the title until Jim does the trophy pieces at the end (Hush Batman, Trinity, JLS, Batman villains, etc.)

And who knows what Frank Miller plans to do but if he does an all out Dark Knight, look out

I would think that Lee could break 20K if he does Hush and Catwoman in full figure. No way for a headshot.

And yes, Frank Miller could also easily pull in 20 if he does what we all hope he does.

If Jim and Frank want to pull a $50K auction, they can. It just needs the right subject matter and detail.

Frank is the wild card here as you just don't know if he is going to do an insanely detailed DK piece or a quick silhouette scribble. I'd bet on the former due to the art being auctioned off.

Jim is only doing the head sketches for pieces 21-40 and then back to the full figure pieces when, I believe, he will pull out the big guns and we will see record numbers for this series of auctions.

Bill S. could blow us away as well and fly by 20K

Simonson doesn't do commissions. If he does a killer Thor piece, collectors will line up in droves to bid, easily eclipsing 20K.

Art has the new high water mark, but it is a matter of time before he hands back the title, IMHO
