I agree
That is a stunning portrait of Storm and a statue would have been amazing

That looks great.
Maybe the Sideshow piece should have featured FX on the hands/fingers.

That is my guess as to what the swap-out is - if any. Some playing with lightning. I can't imagine it would look great, but why not try...

Where is the damn blog for this piece. Man. Or how about Nearmint and GemMint get her and make a video

Nope, there are a few of us, to me the portrait barely looks like a Jim Lee Beast. The side face roar looks off to me like one of the meme faces

Both portraits were not great, the additional portrait was just lazy. Glasses portrait would have only worked if it was a museum pose.

Ya SS usually does a great job on hair, so i'm confident with patience they can do it.

I had to scroll back quite a lot of pages to find the first image of the statue but I sure like what I am seeing so far.

So far I have been more than satisfied with my Storm FS from Bowen Designs but I can't deny that I am curious to find out what the base looks like.

Perhaps it will be a cloud or a tornado or something to create the illusion that Storm is up in the air ready to unleash her powers on the one foolish enough to stand in the way of the X-Men.

Let's bring it on Sideshow and unleash the full might of the storm upon us anytime soon!

I have the FS Bowen and the XM and Sideshow statues. Those two dwarf the FS Bowen. But man I do miss Bowen statues.

This isn't my favorite suit, but if you're looking to get a nice Storm piece, I do recommend either the first PF or this piece. She commands quite the presence in a room and maybe could look good trying her best to stop the Juggernaut

And all you guys talking about XM you keep forgetting a key thing - XM doesn't know jack about the characters they make. They make statues because collectors say "Hey, you should make....". Then the do some quick google search and come up with a concept. The exception to the rule is when they hire names like the K Bros who (sometimes) know about the character. I got lucky that they made a really great Storm statue. And I love their Phoenix and Dark Phoenix. Hell, several of their early pieces are total homeruns, but lately - they haven't been putting much thought or care into their work like the used too. Sad but true.

Really? Did they tease an image or did they just say "hey we are working on a 1:4th beast ?"

If so i'm pretty excited to see what they do. I thought there Beast 1/10th scale was one of the best characters in the diorama.
