Is the question pertaining to the definition of omnibus or the line of books by the publishers?

If its the former, I'm partial to the Absolute Sandman volumes.
I still think that it is the best set they have released regarding the title and format.

Also a lot of Dark Horse Library editions always get high praise (from me). Price and build wise. A lot of titles are not your typical super hero stuff but if you read a lot of their catalogue..
Hellboy, Black Hammer, Goon, Harrow County, Umbrella Academy, Lady Killer, Madman..were really done well.

If its the latter, let me say that I find the super thick tomes are really hard to read. Between trying to be careful and comfortable with it, its a pita to find that sweet spot for me.
Having that out the way, the Uncanny X-Men Byrne/Cockrum/Claremont run and Brubaker/ Epting Cap will have spots on my shelf for a long time.

Ah, Red Sonja. I always liked Red Sonja, but that first omnibus is Crazy OOP, even if it's soft cover. I hope Dynamite will make a reprint.
