I don't know if it's now random or who they choose to send out emails to, but they are no longer going down the list and offering the conversion to the next person in line. More than one person will get the notification that 1 has become available. First to complete checkout gets the conversion.

First heard of this new policy in the Psylocke PF thread. A couple of people reported receiving notification that their waitlist conversion was available. However, by the time they attempted to claim it someone else had beat them to the punch. It was no longer available. One reached out to SS and a rep confirmed the new policy. According to them it's been in effect for about a month or so.

I didn’t know this and still mad my conversion was useless and missed on a print I wanted.

I won't be getting this but IMO it rivals the recent SS Wonder Woman PF. It may even be better.

I've let Sideshow bend me over a table with these prices too much recently. At this point, I aim to hold onto the little bit of sanity/dignity I have left. I thought $430 was too much for Lilith after the discount, but now I see it's a bargain. I honestly cant believe in the acceptance of this price range. I feel like Sideshow staff are in the breakroom placing bets on how much we are willing to pay for these hunks of resin.

a lot of old-time collectors (myself included) see the price and balk. We have historically pre-ordered multiple statues each and every year...but to do so today...is foolish. Like everything else, this will be had for less than retail in due time.

I think SS is catering to a new breed of collector who doesn't buy as much and therefore doesn't mind taking a loss to have it now. I will patiently wait : )
