It really is, much more impressive and imposing in person than i was expecting.

Can't wait to see it next to the rest of the collection, my living room is not a controlled environment so in terms of dust, temperature and sunlight the less it stays there the better.

I missed out on the larger version, but was thinking about picking up the smaller version from Prime 1. What do you all think? This would be my first Jurassic Park statue.

I'd go for it! It may not have the presence the 1/8 Rotunda T-Rex demands, but will still be an eye-catcher.

Finally moved the beast into the room, not ideal timing however as we just filled lots of nail holes on the walls so i need to ventilate for a couple of days. Still better than the living room though.

Really frigging love this piece, presence is insane and the translucent teeth made a huge difference.
The two 1:6 Raptors will be on the shelf below as their spot is reserved for the Dilo, which should still arrive this month hopefully, and the Attack Raptor.
And maybe i'll put the 1:38 scale pieces on the bottom shelf to complete the P1 angle.
Also as usual used the extra P1 pieces for my Iron Studios area, which is a perpetual work in progress.

Apologies for all the wrapping (and my half naked reflection ):

For IS area i still need the P1 Bonus Dilo sign on the left of Hammond and standalone IS Dilo in front of it.
Then the IS Final Battle Diorama where the Chronicle Rotunda is, and at least the left cabinet and top will be finally complete.

It really is. Big enough, better painted than any other Rex, and so much going on in this piece.

Absolutely, i'd say go for it without hesitation.
Sculpt, at least on the body, is actually pretty soft on the 1:8 and going by the promo pictures the smaller version looks kind of improved in this regard.

Wow, I can't remember seeing photos of your IS statues in those glass cabinets... do you have a full pic?

Are those signs all from Prime1 statues? I saw some customs on eBay, I might pick them up at some point.
