Have just learned economy shipping for me will be $307, $477 less than first quoted.

Big improvement, but still $75 more than when I purchased, for slower delivery.

With all the shipping madness, just glad I can still make this one work.

Damn, I'm leaning towards cancelling the order. I don't know if this one is far superior to the original Hush statue but I like that the pose is somewhat different and non-standing since I already have the DKRIII and AO Batman which both look great standing. I don't think I can afford the space to have two Hush statues and I feel like it will be difficult to sell the old one to retain value so maybe cancelling this one while I have the chance might be the better option. Something about the cape draping over his left side (right side when looking at it) seems to be nitpick bothering me for some reason. Also there are so many new statues coming out that I'm tempted to just save for some of those. The Pattinson Batman has me interested and I'm worried I'm not gonna have much space left if they're all filled with Batman statues, lol

Am I making a terrible mistake?

Yes, of course you are!!

All jokes aside, I think you make valid points and its really about space and personal collector preference. A decision like this involves thought, and also discussion about the current statues in your collection and how they relate.

Since you have the original Hush I can understand how you feel.
I will say that this hush pose is pretty iconic and I believe this one will go up in value eventually.

You are also right that their are many statues coming out that you have to consider
