Batgirl Premium Format™ Figure by Sideshow Collectibles arrived today.
This is one of those pieces that i did not like when it went up for pre_order. The EX portrait was
a fail, as it failed to fit with the logic of smashing through a skylight. I thought the Reg portrait
looked excellent though, and still do.

Batgirl sold out fast. I managed to bag a Batgirl via ebay. As luck would have it, i received 108,
which is quite a low number.

In person the factory have performed wonders with Batgirl. The piece looks smooth,
with no signs of the dreaded graining. The paint app looks good. Batgirl's eye's look great.
Attaching the cape took some work.

All in all, i would recommend Bargirl.

She does. Batgirl is an underrated piece, i can vouch for that.

I'm on lockdown until May when i get to return to work. If i am honest, i'm stuck home, bored, mostly surfing the web, and ebay. Been blowing (some of) my savings on some pieces from the past. I need to calm down

I have very little on pre_order. 1x 1/4 scale piece and 2x Hot Toys to be precise. It never feels good to have too much on pre_order. Picking up pieces from the past, means no wait time. The trick is to pay normal prices, and avoid the high price flippers. I have low balled a few sellers, not that it gets me far.

Thanks. Batgirl does indeed look great.
It is one of those pieces that has zero graining.
I wonder how (some) factories manage it? a better mixing compound possibly?

Sorrow Art Print

The long long wait is over..
Today HMO - Bounties of Bathos – Sorrow arrived!

What can i say. Sorrow is on par with Ren
Hyper detailed, with a portrait paint app that looks somewhere between cartoon and realistic.
The clear resin blood effect on the base works really well.

All in all, i am happy. Congrats to HMO for getting the job done.

Negatives: none really. If i wanted to be hyper picky:
The skin tone on the left are is different (lighter) compared to the portrait and body.
The nails on the large (hand on the base) could use some gloss.

Please note:
Skin tone look pinker in person than my photos imply.
The blues look more blue, less grey than my photos imply.
