Thanks for all the compliments. The cards really are amazing. Probably my best commission. It's a toss up between these and my Batman Over Gotham piece by Ryan Bodenheim.
I hear ya regarding commissions from Nar. I too posted & contacted Nar regarding the earlier link in this post about doing a commission a few years back. I think I probably e-mailed him 5-6 times over a couple years. I never did get a response

However, I never gave up and stumbled across his Facebook a few weeks ago. I sent him a message to inquire about getting a commission. He said he was only doing sketch cards at the moment. I was hoping for an 8x10" or 11x17", but considering how much I've always wanted a Nar sketch, I figured a sketch card was a good start.
Honestly, the communication with Nar for these sketches was top-notch. Sent e-mails regarding his thoughts on the layout, rough sketches, & status updates.
I can completely understand what happen a few years ago. He probably posted on a few forums regarding commissions, and since we all can see how good he was, he was bombarded with commission requests. Then companies like Marvel started to notice and he got pulled into doing sketch cards for their sets. Imagine having to produce 30-50 sketch cards... that's probably 3-4 months worth of work. So, unfortunately communication suffered, but because of it his skills improved as an artist and he does even more amazing work today.
While he was working on these cards for me, he did mention he had some big announcements soon. I'm guessing he'll be working on another set of sketch cards or a monthly title (imagine him doing a Spider-man or Wolverine book). So unfortunately it sounds like he going to be busy once again for some time.
And to comment on Statue and Bust's post... yeah, it's best to not think about what I had to pay for it
