I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I mean, it’s only been their thing since they literally came up with the Premium Format concept. It’s like complaining that there is beef in your Big Mac. While they have gotten away from MM more and more, it’s still kinda their thing.

Personally I think it looks great.

Yea, I don't get why people keep thinking SS will change. It's the oddball piece that doesn't use mixed media. I never for a second thought they would sculpt her huge cape. Small capes and items close to the body - sure, they sometimes take the plunge. But I doubt they would risk the lean and damage on larger capes.

Glad to see majority seem pretty happy with SS Storm so far, only a few folks seem to be disappointed mostly cause 90's costume or fabric cape. Guess the base will split the audience further later this week depending how it looks. It may win some over, but if you really hate the 90's look, then you really will be waiting for the next one.

I do know SS has been moving more to doing sculpted unless for engineering purposes they go with fabric. Out of the 16 or so current X-men line, 4 have fabric capes, the rest are all sculpted. I would have preferred sculpted but not at the cost of having the statue lean.

Sculpted would of been dope. But I understand it’s not SS thing. But if there’s anything. To show that sculpted is better, it’s the Gambit. My dude straight looks like he’s moving in air. I did like Rogues jacket, though.

Still getting this storm.

My guess is sculpted capes tend to have more breakage issues.

Then give us a choice, one fabric and one sculpted, prime one has done that..Also they could make it out PVC too.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Would you still be on board if Sideshow said "Ok, sculpted cape version, smaller ES, but no refunds or replacement parts..."?

That assessment is unfair though, aside from those 4, the rest are in costumes that don’t even have capes, so of course they’re all sculpted.
