The weight on this piece is just plain stupid and complete overkill. This thing is the size of my toddler.

Already ran into issue with that damn metal peg not fitting . I'm guessing there is a solution documented somewhere in this thread?

Get the left peg in and start to slide it doen into the hole, and while your Are doing this start lining up the peg For the right foot.

You eventually should be at a level where the left peg is mostly in and the right peg is just there. When you are at that point it?s all about alignment of the legs.

This step took me a solid 5 minutes is trying to slide the right foot in. I had to remove the legs and try again until I had the correct angle.


If you need two people try to recruit a friend. It will work just know it does fit you just hand to go in at the right angle.

The second time I assembled mine, the left leg seemed to get stuck about halfway down and the right foot rod didn't line up with its hole. I reoriented myself and jiggled the lower body around a bit, shifting its weight. The left slid down a little more, but the right rod still wasn't perfectly aligned (I don't know that it ever would've been). Eventually the left leg slid down low enough where I could try and push the right foot to line up with its hole. Took some effort, but once it did, the whole lower body slid down.

I had some AIM grease that I use on my versa climber and applied that on both pegs. Took a few mins and it was on the base.

I didn't bother with the house plants yet, but he's up on the custom pedestal.

and... screw buying anymore of these. I'm good with the Jungle Hunter.

That's cool you got one too! Hey I noticed you didn't put on the skulls and spine bandoleers on his torso. Also the twine that hangs south of his nuggets. Lol.... I think putting the mask on the rock oppose to in the water looks better because of realism aesthetics. Not trying to tell you how to display it.....but you do whatever & Enjoy the statue.
