Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I have the 1/6 Hot Toys Harley
I have the 1/4 Sideshow Collectibles Harley
I have the 1/3 Prime 1 Studios Harley
I own an original oil painting of the Suicide Squad Harley Quinn
Come 2022 i will own a 1/3 JND piece.
It will be my first and last JND piece.

Well technically it’s a statue since the silicone portrait, glass eyes, and most likely poly resin body were all cast from molds. The hobby continues to evolve and manufacturers will continue to make innovations in this hobby. I’m sure this won’t be your last $2k+ statue, I was in your frame of mind a long time ago….enjoy the hobby.

$2400 is alot to put down on a statue. Its not like a $6- 800 piece where you shrug and say " It's only $6-800 spread out throughout the year. Why not".
A couple JND pieces a year will equal alot of money really fast.
3 JND pieces a year for 3 years = a new Subaru.

I agree, but we need to compare Apple's with Apple's.
I often hear, (and I also think it myself), if I purchase enough of this or that Art - I could buy a car.....but, a car is a tool, it's a depreciating asset from the moment you drive it off the lot. These statues - under the right conditions, could, could, become appreciating assets, or hold their value. There are extremely few occasions where a standard car will ever appreciate in value.
I'm not suggesting that buying statues is a good investment by the way.

Good point. I agree.
Priorities chsnge for people.. they have kids, mortgages etc but these ES are still pretty low and there will always be people who'll want them.

I wish I knew what the guy was saying, but you’re right - looks like they will be selling display cases for all of their statues.

He talks about the logic behind the design. I think there are options available, including with or without electric turn table, with or without glass. He mentions keeping the price down, and JND making little profit on the product, as they know collectors prefer to spend on the pieces themselves.

How anyone could prefer a bust without the torso on this particular character is so beyond me.

But the bust pretty much includes the torso, well mostly. I’m assuming you’re saying that it should also include the butt? But as it is the Infinity busts extend further south than any other manufacturer.
