Wow. I’m amazed at just how terrific this statue is. Due in large part to your painting talent as well as the amazing sculpt.

i dont see how this could be any better, definitely a definitive supes statue

any movement on the grim knight?

Yeah, I moved the guns I already painted off the bench and out of my way. But I'll be firing it up as soon as this one's done.

I do. It's very subtle shading and a bunch of colors won't jump out at you. I use burnt sienna, burnt sienna tint, raw umber, red oxide and Payne's Gray. They cause varying degrees of shading once you blend it together with semi transparent flesh.

Example, the shading between the fingers is burnt sienna. None of those shadows are there by accident.

All sorts of little shading going on the face. Nothing showy, trying to keep it natural.

Saw it in Matt's videos how he shaded faces with pastel. That was great.
