I absolutely love Star Wars and Marvel (and really like LOTR)
universes, and select characters from each that I would and have bought statues of, but there's something special about the Harry Potter universe that I enjoy watching repeatedly, too.
It's probably the combination of it being the most 'normal' and 'possible' fantasy fiction, of the major franchises, combined with a near universally approachable coming-of-age story, and the boarding school charm is it's own appeal. Goblet especially, followed by Azkaban are ones I'll watch whenever I can.
I haven't even read the books, but just from the movies, I'm amazed how clever Rowling was with the naming conventions, and creating a universe that exists parallel with our own. As a science geek, it's a fascinating take that mirrors the growing understanding of and theories for extra dimensions that we cannot observe currently.
Plus, the musical themes and score is awesome...
