that's a Saturday. i understand that's the US release date...but a Saturday reveal doesn't make much sense to me.

They are a Japanese company and the the release date in Japan was the 27th. who the hells knows?!?

Production needs to be A-1 but I'm not holding my breath. This is the most film accurate Jungle Hunter to date. The only thing the 1/4 has on this is the pose. paired with the tree victim will be sight to behold for sure. Hope they reveal City Hunter this weekend!

It does get a bit abstract, yes. And people interpret these percentages differently. Some are convinced the paint on the 1/4 Big Game Predator is 80% there. I think it's no more than 60%.

As an example, let's isolate the spots/dots on the Predator's head and body. I know this image is of a lifesize head, I'm just using it to illustrate the spot patterns I'm referring to. You'll notice the spots are airbrushed with soft edges, but have very specific organic shapes. They're not simple circles. They appear this way on Prime 1's prototype as well.



For me, 80-85% would mean one of two things:

- Airbrushed spots equal in size/mass to what's on the proto, but perhaps not as intricately shaped. Spacing between them may be a bit wider.

- Solid spots with hard edges, but shaped perfectly. Spacing may be wider, but not as wide as in the above scenario.

CLEAN in both scenarios. Minimal to no slop. No overlapping or jagged spots that look like paint splatter. The 1/4 version is riddled with this and looks amateur.

that's that guy's name?!?! I always knew him as Max Calvera. He's got all those goofy Predator name plates on his pieces
