So what did you end up snagging her for if you don't mind me asking?

@NothernladMSP

I always watch auction in Ebay... its one way to get updated of what's more or less the hottest piece or the price market of a statue that i have or fancy.

I won her for $348 . . . not exactly cheap, but within reason for something that is very hot and not as common

Well I paid a little more than that, so I think you got her for a decent price; high yes, but not for what I've seen her go for. Congrats again brotha!

Honestly, it's definitely a good decent price. I checked the guide on past auctions for the statue . . .

Aphrodite IX: statue 360197521578 $348.00 (Mine)
Aphrodite IX: statue 320406451817 $325.00 (August)
Aphrodite IX: statue 200340346252 $304.00 (May)
Aphrodite IX: statue 270348810616 $549.99 (March)
Aphrodite IX: statue 120291762357 $338.33 (August 08)

In September, a seller had one starting bid $400, BIN $500 and it went the 7 days and didn't sell . . . he then re-listed it starting bid $465 (ya, why raise the price when you re-list) and BIN $500 and still, it didn't sell.

Right now, there is another one on starting at $500, or BIN $699 and I seriously doubt that will sell for that high of a price

Thank you Almart, I have a feeling she is going to be my absolute favorite!

But, I do have a question for ComputerFly or Davidian, someone who owns the original. Is she sturdy standing on her base? I ask because a lot of the other statues have a metal peg in each foot, but Aphrodite IX only has one peg in one foot. Or Fathom who has a pretty thick peg that fits into both her feet/ankle area. I just hope she's not wobbley. Can anyone give some input?

I would say that she's sturdy as long as you put her on a stationary surface, like in a display case or something. As far as carrying her if you're moving her, she is wobbly, so when I have to move her, I hold her in one hand and the base in the other.
