Sideshow did a pretty good job.

Admittedly this is better and I will happily own both!

It's a shame since their Big Chap really is an incredible statue. I'd say it's the best Alien collectible ever made, but unfortunately it looks undersized next to the best Predator collectible ever made.

I think the designs of the statues also make them incompatible. The Big Chap -- especially the reissue -- has a much simpler base. In that respect, the Warrior might look better next to the JH because although it's even shorter, it's base is similarly wide and busy. I'm really curious to get those two next to each other.

Yes, the original SWS maquette still holds up today, but the P1 is finally something that can top it in most regards. I will probably keep both as well.

I'm torn between getting big chap reissue and then leaving the hobby or waiting for more from the 1/3 predator line or potential aliens done at this 1/2.5 scale. With the prices of these statues and stress that comes along with the hobby I feel getting big chap and calling it quits may be the way to go.

I can turn down all the upcoming preds however if wolf is done well I don't think I could turn him down or greyback elder

^ I’m in the same boat as you. I think this will pair well enough with my Dog Alien so my two favorite martians are covered. And I thank my lucky stars that I love the XM Galvatron which will complete my childhood nostalgia collection. With LBS Grey Hulk preordered, I may ride off into the sunset by the end of 2023.

Guys I?m conflicted, I really like the look of this without the plants, what do you guys think? Really gives off the muddy swamp look where the final fight took place. I think I may display mine like this

Looks good.
It's a good thing it's somewhat customizable.
I was planning to display additional foliage behind the statue to add to the atmosphere.

I don't like it. Looks more to me like his gauntlet nuke has already gone off and leveled the area...

But you do you. That's all that matters.
