I think you meant:

I love everything about this. Will definitely get it. Wish it was 1/5 scale ... would look wonderful next to the mythos statues.

I like what they're doing with this line. The first two piqued my interest in this 'Artist Series' and this only increases the odds of me diving in.

It's nice to see fresh takes on these characters that have been (and will continue to be) done countless times in their traditional form.

Do these kind of statues ever sell out? I've seen this brand a lot but none of their pieces seem to be limited really. What is the overall quality of their statues etc.?

This looks excellent just not sure if I need to pre-order.

I'd say your chances of picking it up when it releases is about 99% good...these statues can become rare after a time but Koto is notorious for doing re-releases of product that sells well...

I'll probably pre-order just to make sure i get it on release, i think it's fab and hopefully it encourages Koto to do more of this style of star wars in the future.

Pre-ordering is probably a good idea, if only because Koto has canceled several of these 1:7 scale pieces in the past. Better to show them the demand is there.

art fx is their cheaper line. these are essentially "plastic" pre-painted models that you assemble (snap together).

they also have a bad habit of re-releasing the newer ones multiple times. their maul is an example.

I don't think the arm seams should be that noticeable. I've seen another video review where it looked much better and the reviewer said you should definitely read the instructions that come with it when putting the piece together. Also there's an art print that comes with it.
