Inevitable. Surprising how long they lasted while using a license as popular as Star Wars.
Probably shouldn't have done a Sideshow-like '12 Days' to advertise. Kind of a stupid move in retrospect.

Yeah - I think he flew a bit too close to the sun; growing edition sizes, using actual character/ship names, etc. Kind of surprised he lasted as long as he did.

A sad day for Star Wars collectors. Honestly, I am surprised the licensors hadn't shut them down sooner.

I’m surprised they lasted this long.
They should have called everything different names and added parts that could be taken off to “look” different. Sucks for people wanting the Falcon, I believe that was supposed to be up for PO this month. Im glad I didn’t sell my MR Falcon. I guess the MR Falcon will still hold its place.

Their ships were propelling them to new heights. Like the rest here, I’m shocked they lasted as long as they did. I’d always assumed there was some wink and a nod for as brazen as he was. Shame to see it happen.

Maybe MYC can try moving on to Star Trek ships? There's no company really watching that ip, and there's a huge fanbase dying to see affordable ships being released that no one (official) is willing to create. And the only reason any licensor would go after MYC for using the Star Trek license would be out of spite since no one is really doing much with it at all, so maybe it would be a safe ip to try?

I think Paramount might have something to say about that They didn't even allow the Axanar fan film to go forward...
On December 29, 2015, CBS and Paramount Pictures filed a copyright lawsuit seeking damages in the US District Court for the Central District of California, alleging that the Axanar works infringed their rights by making use of the Klingon language and "innumerable copyrighted elements of Star Trek, including its settings, characters, species, and themes".
