Armageddon Comics and Multimedia Convention 2009: The Story and Picture Thread!!

The day started bright and early as we jumped in the car and began the drive into the city to met some SF buddies for Day One of the con!!



Sitting at the lights, THIS guy rolled up next to us, and I wondered if he too was heading to the con.....



Soon enough, we saw our destination!!

So we (Rocket\Rod, Rockette\Steph, and my sister Belinda), met up with SF legend FredFlintstone\Alex, and Royd\Royd, and we began the adventure!!

Our main mission as soon as we entered was to secure some Original artwork, both for ourselves, and our US mates who look after us SO well, but we knew not to panic, because we had a friend with time on his side.....

Something was telling me Royd, wasn't who he said he was......no one could have THAT MANY ART CONTACTS!!!! He revealed himself as Skrullektra and with a maniacal laugh, disappeared into the crowd!!



Of course, he wasn't the only superhero in attendance.....

After seeing so many familiar faces, we thought it best to sit down and rest. But something was telling me, we had picked a bad spot to stop.......





We made a run for it, when this familiar face showed up!!

After hitting up some artists, we decided to head across the road to Crown Casino for lunch (which was totally covered in just another wonderful gesture by Dr A)




After a great lunch, filled with some amazing comic\movie\art stories from Royd (this man knows EVERYBODY!!!) we headed back!!
