The sculpt looks great, but that indigo colour is so off putting.

What I'm most disappointed about is XM's sad excuse about the original blue "fading" over time. Most ridiculous thing I've heard in a long while.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I saw your pics and the majority of them look blue to me, not purple. There was only a couple which tilted more towards purple in my eyes.

No offense but i think you need to correct colors on your screen then. Anyway I can see it with my eyes under natural light: it's purple.

No offense, but I disagree. I've seen other pics and other videos on multiple screens and most people agree that it's not purple, but an indigo. Indigo more leans towards blue in my opinion.

So perhaps my vision and screens are fine.

Color - and it's perception and naming - isn't as black and white (no pun intended) as nearly everyone believes.

The first issue here is that purple isn't really a color (as defined by a specific narrow wavelength of light). Purple refers to a variety of colors between blue and red. Violet is sometimes used interchangeably, but violet is an actual spectral color.

The second is - who defines that purple range? Well, that's influenced by cultural and societal factors. It can differ even among English speakers, and surely across languages.

And I haven't even mentioned that a decent percentage of males are color deficient (often confused with color blind), so their perception could be skewed to begin with.

So even if you're actually seeing the same color, you could be describing it differently.

I'm an English-speaking American, tested and know I'm not color deficient in the slightest (my father and brothers are however), and I've never seen a pic of this Apoc that I'd describe as purple. Some Americans might. Maybe more Brits would. Maybe more French would (Armored Berserk, correct?). One expert and author on color naming debate concludes: "There are universal constraints on color naming, but at the same time, differences in color naming across languages cause differences in color cognition and/or perception."

Different than the prototype? Yeah, maybe. At the very least, the color saturation and light source is totally different from the studio pics versus some customer pics.

Apocalypse is here and I love how it turned out! Using Philips HUE smart bulbs as my lighting?too tired to try out the other switch out.

Takin in the evening? First photo honestly looks blue under the coolest light available and for the second photo it looks indigo with warm light.
