It almost makes one wonder if RotK cleaning up after that was an even up/knee jerk to appease the fan backlash. (Which further undermines the integrity of the Academy). It also reminds me that the Hobbit films are not winning best picture any time soon

I didn't even exist yet.

Home front 5.5/10 starring Jason Statham and produced by Stallone. DEA agent retires hoping for a quite life. Doesn't go to plan.

Out of the Furnace 6/10 starring Christian Bale and Casey Affleck along with Wilim Dafoe and Woody Harlson. Not bad but unlikely to watch again.

The Best Offer 6/10 arts auctioneer falls for reclusive beauty but not all is what it seems .

1,000,000% agree. It's actually ridiculous. Lord of the Rings should have won best picture for all three movies not just Return of the King. I hate the Oscars and critics in general.

I wouldn't say every year but you have to admit Hollywood in general is dominated by the left.

Vehicle 19 I think this was Paul Walker's last full film. Kind of a redemption story regarding a troubled man (Walker) who wants to reconnect with his wife in Jamaica but rents the wrong vehicle and chaos ensues. 7.5/10

Actually "Brick Mansions" was the last movie Paul Walker completed before his death. Fast and Furious 7 will technically be his final film however.

Just came back from 300: Rise of an Empire
7/10 for me. Quite different from the first film, and definitely doesn't have quite the charm as the first, but it's great seeing Eva Green prance about like the goddess she is, and Lena holding her own
