I feel like this is the sort of thing I'd like to see in a store, but is just too much for my house. Too big, too busy, not enough focus on the character. Impressive though.

Not sure why this piece is receiving hate. I think it’s marvelous. But to each his own.

I think is an awesome statue as well. Really impressive and ambitious. Waiting on the price to see if I’ll preorder it.

I was thinking the same thing. I think it's mostly people with huge collections who don't want Kyle standing out so much next to other statues. This is a showstopper piece! What more could you ask for!?

I don't know that it's hate, really. Most criticisms, including my own, have just been personal taste/preference issues. I don't think many people would say there is anything glaringly wrong with the piece.

Even with the 1/6 possibility, this 1/4 is growing on me fast. Kinda bummed I didn't get the Stewart SS PF now :/

Art is very subjective, so that's the biggest reason why... But it's also the company who produced it.

I'm fairly positive a lot of the hate comes from the fact it has an XM logo on the picture. Happens almost every single reveal, no matter how good the piece is. It's gotten to the point it's expected now, I just skip over those posts and buy what I like.

Now, come on with the 1/6 version so I can buy it can't fit this one in my display and most my DC collection is 1/6, so Rayner would fit perfectly. Hopefully it's the same sculpt and similar details.

Criticism comes with every reveal from every company. XM just gets the most criticism by volume since they put out the most reveals. But not necessarily releases...

There were reasons given above, but you can just chalk it up to XM hate if you like. A lot of it comes with pieces like this pushing into 1/3 or diorama territory and the price that's going to be associated with it. Worth it if you love the concept, but not if you don't like enormous distracting bases and needlessly crouched characters.

I think a lantern's construct is very much an extension of them. In this sense, this statue has no base. There is the lantern and his construct. That's it.

You may have a point. I only been getting XM stuff for like a yr or so. I personally don’t have a “brand” I just buy what I deem looks nice or fits my Collection. I have a range of xm, SS, P1 and IS. No queen as of yet, but they look to be top notch.

It's pretty big but it looks really good. Love how they painted the construct.
