I love riders because they immediatley show scale. Here's kind of in progress, Sculpey FIRM , might putty , almaloy , aluminum foil, floral wire , and wood .
I'm sticking bondo , the white stuff , in some crucial spots , also to secure the aluminum foil.

I go ahead and make a bondo key at the bottom of the rider's armature so that he comes on and off in the exact some spot and is secure.
I dont want the rider facing forward , I feel like there is more story if he's looking to the side
the rider has got some faux dragon type stuff strapped to the monster, however horrible the monster is, he wants it to be even scarier looking, the armature for said wings? starts here
