The Jacket is pleather, or some such material.

I gotta say again, seeing the close ups of the face definitely show this to be a great looking statue, if your a fan of this character this is probably one of the best you will see of him

This I cannot deny. It's cool to see DST coming out with figures, a couple small statues, and a bust, but this will be head and shoulders above those.

I had a goth/punk phase as a teen and this movie (and more so the book) meant a lot to me, but even at the time I recognized it wasn't a masterclass in screenwriting. Simple story, but done with a lot of style and heart. I guess if you watch it at the right point in your life, that's enough to make it work.

^ exactl how I feel about the Original Blair Witch Project. You just had to be there when it dropped to appreciate it.

And...I'm probably out. I just don't want to deal with non-sculpted materials anymore. I'm a little bummed as I do think this looks pretty darn good. Oh well.

Blade3327, I loved the movie for what it was, it certainly had a lot of hype back in the day, partly because of Brandon dying during filming, he played the part so good, and nothing wrong with being a little goth, I love gothic art, girls etc... whoever sculpted this should be proud and im sure it will sell like crazy

Oh, of that I have no doubt. I'm very tempted myself, just might make a different base is all.

How do other pleather pieces from Sideshow fare? I've heard horror stories about Hot Toys and even Prime 1, but have never had issues with them myself. Low humidity in my neck of the woods.

And you just know it is going to have those lines/wrinkles in it once it is unboxed. Those things take months to come out. Ugh. This thing would have looked amazing with a fully sculpted coat.
