Look, the bottom line is that we could have premiered this statue last year. However, as I've explained numerous times, I wanted to make sure we had the Kiani base situation resolved (or as close to resolved as possible) before we started to hype and talk about our next statue. That would have been a complete disservice to our fans and something I know Mike would have never wanted to do. If your impatience due to the extra wait time quells your desire for this statue, my sincerest apologies, but that's just the way it had to be. We feel we did everything humanly possible to handle the base situation as best we could, and delaying the premiere of this statue was an unfortunate part of that.

However, we're nearing the finish line in regards to shipping out the replacement lava bases and I should have some great news shortly for those waiting upon info pertaining to the regular edition bases. All in all, it took longer than I had hoped, but we stuck to our guns and were able to make a bad situation better. I'm very happy and proud about that because I don't think many others would have done the same.

So, my promise of premiering this statue soon will also be upheld. My thoughts are why give a small sneak peek now when just a bit more patience will pay off in premiering the entire thing. For those of you still waiting to check it out, it's worth the wait. Thanks for your time!

I give you props for the work you do, it is great and I appreciate how you guys back up your work and are willing to fix the Kiani base situation. I am sure this finished piece will knock everyone socks off and make us eat our words. I just have no patience.

You have just announced in another thread the reg and faux bases will be a while.

Sorry, just a bit longer. Phillip is still working with the factory on the production end of things, so once we're set with that, we'll premiere the statue.

In all honesty, and looking at the schedule, it'll probably be just over a month before we show it. Then, you can also expect to see it in our Worlds of Aspen 2010 Free Comic Book Day issue too! Not too much longer...
