Surprised it's sold out from bbts, but will get from elsewhere. Will probably sell the SS excl though.

I'd wait for the offiicial pre-order. Just in case if anything goes wrong, the processing period should be shorter.

Personally I am quite amazed how BBTS can even offer this for pre-order given that they are not listed as an AD on the CM site. And what's all this about it now being "sold out" at BBTS... what they sold all 1,000 pieces?? The whole thing doesn't make any sense... why would a store limit pre-orders to 15 pieces? If CM do the usual and makes 50 for the initial run there is no way that BBTS would get 15 of those at the start. CM could sell 50 of those direct from their own site without involving a third party.
Now that the retial price of this has been confirmed at $2000 you can expect to see more retailers offering this for pre-order.

Obviously they've not sold all 1000 units.
I would simply look upon this as BBTS securing themselves a specific quantity, in this instance, 15. Once said quantity is pre-sold, the website has qualified the piece as 'sold out', therefore blocking further orders being processed.
As we are all aware, those 15 orders could take a considerable time to fulfil, which is perhaps why there's a limit.

Thank you trilogy. That answers my questions and concerns in a reasoned manner. Somewhere down the line a couple of posts have been deleted between my post above, a respondent, my response to the respondent and your response.
Well done to everyone who secured one through BBTS.
Have you got your name down with FPI yet Tril? if not, do it Monday!!
