I was really into it at first, but seeing as I can't fit it into Besta, I don't really have anywhere to display him. Weta's would be good, except I hate the pose.

I decided to PO this piece to go with my Weta Superman and QS Wonder Woman. I agree the detail isn't as impressive as the Weta Darkseid's, but the pose is better suited for how I want to display the character, and I like the 1/4 scale. P1's has some really nice switch-outs but I don't collect 1/3 scale statues, so it was never really in the running.

Cool Easter egg about these 2 statues:
Supes' base has Steppenwolf's broken horn and Darkseid's base has Steppenwolf's head. I think they will both display well together. �� |

What are the chances the peg is on the base and goes into the foot, so it can be displayed without the base?

Out of the 20 or so statues I have owned they have always been peg on the foot that fits into the base. It's also highly likely Steppenwolfs head is part of the base too. Fingers crossed for you though.
