Ah, I see the pics posted over on Freaks, thank you. Yeah, I see what you mean on the "monotone grey". That would definitely need a decent amount of work to get it even remotely close to proto pics.

For the price, I will have to pass. Hell, that is almost the cost of Prime 1 Alien Warrior/Big Chap.

So the Nostromo has arrived. Definitely recommend the exclusive edition to get the name plaque to set it off. Lovely base and this thing is heavy!!!!! Instructions and ref photo pretty crap and some bending of the plastic aerials. Was a bit worried as heard something loose and rattling about inside the main hull but no damage seen so all good which is amazing as usually every model I get is damaged!! So this is pretty much a first so packaging must be good. It needs some serious weathering however as plain paint job but very nice piece. Lovely and heavy lots of detail and magnetic where you attach the undercarriage etc. Interestingly they are nicely weathered. Will look awesome once its had some nice added touches.

Thanks for posting the pics. If you could put a few more up that would be great. I do think the paint is lacking. It seems that every company nowadays are shooting for $1,000+ pieces, and at those prices, when they come out of the box, they should be 100% finished showpieces ready for display that need absolutely nothing done to it.
