I paid in full hoping this would turn out as good, if not better, than their previous Marilyn. Pretty disappointed with these first production reveals.
I'm fine with the skin shading and the sculpted hair looks good. But the face proportions look off; her eyes are set too far apart and the lips are stretched out too much

There's clearly some lens distortion going on in that pic above- and probably the others as well.
I had issues with the original sculpt in general, so I was kind of living in a fantasy land when I pre-ordered it, thinking there was a chance they would have made some significant alterations to the production version.
If you were totally on board with it as originally solicited, I'd probably hold off on cancelling just yet.
First pics are always underwhelming and/or deceptive.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

The production piece is trash compared to proto. Blitzway did wonderful job on their first Marylin, but failed completely on their 2nd attempt.

Yeah I noticed the bad paint on her toe nails in that Facebook unboxing. Plus, the halter of her dress is all loose and looks bad as well. I'm glad I cancelled.

I'll wait and see. I don't cancel anything based on the first pics of a statue in the wild.

Damn. These production pics look like the kind of quality of one of the crappy knockoffs of their first Marilyn piece. Hoping they're just crap photos and not a problem with the actual statue...

Maybe they decided to hire the company that produced the knockoffs to save some production cost..

I was just going to say that. They decided to save time by just releasing the recast out of the gate.
This looks really bad. So many better versions of her out there.
