I just held the skirt halves together with my fingers while I heated them with the hair dryer... You can apply some heat to the suspender straps too, as this should relax them enough to keep them from trying to pull the skirt halves apart.

Yes the portrait looks slightly different from the renders. Same with Medusa. There are also LibraGemini's but they are significantly larger being 1/4 and having a large base/composition overall.
