I think pretty much everything you said would be a factor in what would be considered an underrated statue. However I do think your second point pinpoints at more. It seems like the price of a Bowen statue will raise depending if the character is a hot marvel character in a movie or TV show but after about 6 to 12 months later the prices tend to go down (it amazes me that a black knight statue and Minnie bust are now going for anywhere from $100 to over $300 when at one point you could pick up the mini bust for under $50 and the statue for around $150. But since he’s going to be in the new eternal‘s movie he’s going to become a hot Marvel cinematic universe character). Now that is a mini bust that you can still get for anywhere from $30-$50 on eBay but That did have an addition run of 2500 which could be another reason why the mini bus does go so cheap.

I don’t have a picture taken of this mini bust but I truly think that the blue and yellow Goliath mini bust is one that is very underappreciated. I just think the sculpt on that post is so nice and the colors are wonderful and it is just such a great representation of the character. I actually owned the full-size statue of that character in the blue and yellow costume and I sold it and purchase the mini bust again because I thought it was far superior.

Oh yeah! I got that one as consolation for not wanting to pay the Sideshow's price and it's a total winner.
A real statue connoisseur's statue!
Even if I get Sideshow's Man-Thing and Swamp Thing, Bowen's will have a place in my collection.

I may have to pick up the Black Panther. I prefer either Museum piece but won’t drop the bucks for either so this one I may end up with.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

You're right about Sunfire being a masterpiece but is he underrated though?

I think those are both highly rated as their eBay values are both through-the-roof.

I will be honest I think I just was lucky whenever it came to this statue maybe it was just the day and the time it was ending people weren’t paying attention (The auction ended on it was either Saturday or Sunday evening which I’ve noticed can sometimes work to your advantage whenever you were looking to purchase something ) or people just didn’t wanna spend a lot of money for it (which I did not).
I've seen it go for cheap pretty regularly. It jumped a bit when the Black Panther movie came out then went back down. Which speaks to your point about the movie hype...side note- one piece that jumped from zero to hero price-wise when the movie came out was Hela. She never went back down, though...to my surprise.

Yes...that's one that's picked up steam lately, but was easily had for cheap for the longest time. Of course, I didn't pick it up when it was cheap.
