John Carter statue collection
Hey guys, here is my collection of statues of John Carter from Mars .. so far!
Dejah Thoris, Women of Dynamite, 1/8 scale, "diamond eyes" version, number 14 of 49 produced, with real diamonds in the pupils of her eyes ... of the 4 existing Dejah Thoris statues, for me it is the the only one that comes close to ERB's description in the books, inspired by Frank Cho's drawings.
Tars Tarkas, Triad Toys, number 2 of 100 produced, is the only statue of Tars produced although it is closer to the version of modern comics, for the size of Tars of 4-4.5 meters, this statue is close to the 1/8 scale (51 cms)
Sowrdsman of Mars, by Level52, number 180 of 200 produced, 1/4 scale, Tan Hadron and Tavia, inspired by Frank Frazetta's illustration made for the cover of Doubleday's Swordsman of Mars edition
