Agreed, looks great in person. Statue is a Home Run. You won’t be disappointed.

I was thinking of buying this cap and i just saw hes on sideshow seconds for a 15% discount. The text says small artbox damage but the last thing i want is to open this to find a damaged statue..does anyone here have experience buying their statues on sideshow seconds?

You can always return it if the statue is damaged. Most times even if the art box is slightly damaged, the styrofoam box is still able to protect the statue.

I've heard lots of positives about SS 2nds, I think you'll be alright.

I think he has a very determined look on his face. I have this and can't say enough good things about it. The sculpt is superb and the paint apps are fantastic. This really is an AWESOME statue across the board.

Thanks! I?m more of a DC guy, but this Cap statue really grabbed my attention when it was first shown. The Sideshow Seconds offer plus $100 in Reward Points made it impossible to resist.

Here is a review I found of the new SSC Cap and the New XM Ultimate Cap.
Clearly the SSC piece is bigger. But both probably the best Caps out there.

Lucky for me, I have both. That Unmasked XM head sold me on that piece.
2 of my favorite statues in my collection, and I’m a Spider-Man guy.

Have to say ...I agree with your assessment. The XM Cap and SSC Cap has good merits, but overall the SSC Cap wins.
