It's so bad that there are no circumstances in which I would buy it, much less display it.
I’m legitimately confused every time I see that (Deathstroker) in someone’s collection.

Galactus is dwarfed by so many 1/4 pieces, I can’t see how you make it work unless you have a mostly smaller scale Marvel collection. I have stuff in various scales, which never really bothers me, but a character that is supposed to be huge should look, well, huge. I think the bigger disappointment is they built it up ahead of time as if it were going to deliver on that promise.

I like most of it, except the size. I did PO but then my payment got declined. I think my CC requires 2FA to approve it so they ended up cancelling which is s saving grace. Going to wait till it's in hand and see before I decide to come back. Need to focus on completing my X-men and Avengers 1/4th anyway.

The only positive with the Deathstroker PF is that Deathstroke is so popular, sideshow was still able to sell out of that terrible Stroker PF. That is a miracle in and of itself. Imagine how a well executed classic Perez Deathstroke PF would sell if sideshow released it. I don't know what they're waiting for.

I agree with you. This new Galactus MAQ just won't work in a 1/4 collection. The problem though is that I don't think sideshow will EVER release a full FF PF lineup. For me personally, I don't need a Galactus statue that works with 1/4 pieces because we'll probably never see a full 1/4 FF lineup. Thankfully, Bowen has come through and given us 2 complete FF lineups. So, the new Big G will be bought and displayed with them. Even the OG MAQ doesn't work with 1/4 pieces. I had the OG Surfer COM. That piece was HUGE. The OG Galactus MAQ was still too small to display them together. I ended up selling the Surfer COM because I got tired waiting for sideshow to release a Torch, Reed, and Sue PF. Thankfully, I can utilize the new G MAQ in my Bowen collection and display the complete lineup I was looking for...even if it isn't in 1/4 scale.

An alternative to the underwhelming SS maquette may be HasLab's upcoming (crowdfunded) action figure

• Light ups
• Three face plates
• 32" tall (without a base)
• posable
• $400

It's a Haslab project. 45 days left to reach full funding.
