Well that was anti-climatic.

"Pretty significant" improvements were made to the portrait, according to Daniel.

We'll get to see what that entails next week when the (now) excess inventory goes up for a new PO.

REALLY looking forward to seeing this. I think it's almost unheard of for a manufacturer to listen to the feedback and go ahead and make significant changes to improve something. I take my hat off to JND Studios for going the extra mile to make sure fans get something that they can be truly happy with.

I was hoping for them to at least tease the new face sculpt.

One of their partners (distributors) was met with difficult times and was not able to hold on to their order, so now JND have a chunk of the edition size unaccounted for. And since they also have an improved portrait to show, they are doing a Mini Product Re-Launch next week.

I hope that chunk is in few hundreds at least.

The Clark Kent likeness was always spot on, but the Superman likeness or more so the chosen expression was not to my liking. I can't afford this, but I am eager to see the reveal next week.

It won't be in the "hundreds" because the edition size is only in the hundreds to begin with.

Oh right, so I was thinking at least couple of hundreds. But I guess 50 is more realistic.

Catwoman single ES being 300 and the duo ES being 600, I thought Superman would be way higher at least over 500 for the single one.

Superman / Clark Kent Dual is 450.
Superman Single is 500.

Thanks. So the duo ended up with slightly lower ES.

They switched it around for Catwoman, guess more will be inclined to go for the duo then.

It is so nice to see JND reacting to feedback.

Hopefully, it is a substantial improvement since I have the Duo on PO and was thinking about cancelling it.
