That's the one major critique I've heard so far and I agree. The hands could be better detailed. But it's a minor flaw for me, I'm very happy with it too.

This one is displayed in the same case as the B&W's at my LCS and they are designed to be the same size. This one and the Miller do look a little larger due to the poses, cape here and the inflated muscles on the Miller; Not that the B&W line was great at being completely consistent with the scale anyways.

I rather wait for the Kotobukiya 1/6 scale artfx PVC statue instead of this "icon statue" by DC Collectibles. Not happy at all with the look of the face, seems like made of wax or something and the paint job does not remind me back when Gentle Giant released their first Star Wars and Matrix mini busts.

I agree about the face is not great, but you have to agree that the paint job and detail on the body are amazing and of course the base too, plus looks great next to batman icon statue, i still dont if im going to get any man of steel statue the movie looks freaking awesome but overall is not my favorite superman
Take care Gustavo!

Yes, the overall look of the statue is extremely nice. However, the paint job on the face is essential to me whenever I have to decide if I'm going to get or not a statue. That's why I won't buy this statue, not for now.
Thanks, take care you too!!

The Face and Hands are FUBAR'ed IMO... The hands are a tad to big and have the same paint as the face which makes it look like a plastic doll head. It's pretty bad.
Also the bright red cap does not match the burgundy red of the suit which is a mistake on Gentle Giants part also...
Ratings:
Body = 9/10
Face = 5/10 <--- only because of how they painted it, the detail is great.
The Face could be fixed if you know someone who is really good at painting.
