Big Game 1/4 DX PO was 2 years ago, surprising it hasn't hit low stock yet. There's 800 of them for the DX and the statue is almost half the price of this 1/3. Going by the 1/4 thread, you'd think it has well sold out over a year ago but that doesn't seem to be the case. Bizarre

Some people cancelled 1/4 preorder because P1 announced 1/3 version. That’s why 1:4 is still available

Yeah I thought that too, with some cancelations going to the 1/3, some due to increase shipping costs and other miscellaneous factors (production piece, financial difficulties, lost of interest etc).

I just can't believe during the 2 years of sales and before the announcement of the 1/3, the 1/4 DX never hit 'low stock' on their page. From the get go, doesn't seem like the 1/4 was ever a sought out piece. Maybe it did ok as a standalone but compared to the 1/3, there's a huge contrast between the demand of the two.

I agree with an earlier poster. Maybe the low stock is on the DXS. When that’s sold out the DX will be available still for a while.

Yeah Python mentioned that, he makes a good point and could be right.

This is a pretty rough calc: forums normally represent 2-3% of collectors. So if around 15 or so of us commentators have PO'd this, x33 (say we represent 3% of the market), still equates to just under 500 sold. Far from 'low stock'

However these calcs go out the window if more than 15 of us have PO'd.

Did a rough browse, I think just this forum alone, there has been around 18 POs.

If we go by 3% representation that equates to 600
Using 2% equals 900

I could be way off, but at the same time, there is a real possibility that it is on 'low stock'. Or maybe they just sold 18 LOL

Some cancelled because Prime tripled the shipping price.
Little did I know, at the time, they were doing me a huge favour as once this was revealed I forgot all about the 1:4.

Prime don't have 999 to sell, who knows how many went to dealers.

They have 999 to sell directly and indirectly through dealers. That said, doesn't make a difference with the calcs.
