He looks sort of basic in a paint app dept. The soft focus live stream Sideshow camera might be to blame?

100% purchased! He’s humongous! That Menat is on a riser!

I would like to see a more detailed paint app. I realize that isn’t a hallmark of the SF line, but the most legendary statues in the line are the ones where the paint applications were more detailed.

Sagat springs to mind. The speckled skin and blue veins took him to the next level.

Blue veins and tons of shading will put Hugo over the top!

Day one preorder! Beautiful work!

The overall design looks fantastic, but yeah the paint apps really make him look like a blown up 1/8 statue, which I believe he literally is. The outfit is too basic looking to me and it lacks some texturing. At this size you want those pants and shirt to have nice enough textures and paint to make them look real. The muscles and skin could probably use some more tones on them too. Guess we will need to see the preorder shots to get a better idea of how he's looking. He is in the unfortunate position of being in a line of statues that have relatively simple sculpts and paint apps, but being at the size where he is competing with 1/3 statues which people tend to want much more detail from

Early pics to really tell, but maybe could use some extra shading
