that was me that paid the 855usd :P I have paid over 1k shipping for some queen studios/infinity pieces during corona! Im never bothered about resale value as i don't really sell anything i just like to collect.
I am in an extremely fortunate position financially where money is not really much of an object, not trying to brag just more explain why i would spend so much to get something "quicker" etc.
I would certainly hope if you're paying 1k just to have a statue shipped that money is of little consequence lol.
agreed, i spend around 6-8k a month on statues as a side hobby. However i also understand it from the viewpoint of the guys that buy 1-2 pf's a year from sideshow on 6 month payment plans as to how ridicolous shipping prices are lol.
I do think it’s statue of the year. It’s an incredible piece. The one review said Superman weighed like 38 lbs and this piece was 65 pounds?!!!? Is that accurate?
