Most seem to think it's the Game of Thrones guy that was the bad guy in the last movie. I can't remember his name.

So the guy in the last one was Named Alan Jonah.(had to look it up) he had the head for Ghidorah. There is a possibility there may be a Mecha King Ghidorah but I put that scenario as the end credit scene. Just because The man who played him is not even on IMDB list in this movie. So to me that screams cameo at the end rather than antagonist for this movie.

Charles Dance is the actor, Tywin Lannister was his Game of Thrones character.
I have no clue character in Godzilla...I don't really remember the humans.

Went back and watched the trailer, you can definitely see something is not normal when Godzilla is in the background of the part where the people are going down the stairs like Frankierock said. Also there is a man standing in front of a big computer display later in the trailer and it looks like it's a robot in Godzilla form. Good eye Frankierock.

Why? Does he have a generator he is carrying around we didn’t see? Or does he only fight in lightning storms?

I don't know why but according to Kong vs. Godzilla the original movie..Kong received extra levels of strength from electricity which gave him an advantage over Godzilla. Inquiring why is as absurd as two Giant monsters battling each other, so just go with it.
