Thanks, I do like watching movies--especially during awards season. I don't watch TV shows as much as most people here I think. I find binge-watching shows particularly daunting. Whenever I do binge-watch a show, it's never more than an episode a day. I don't like committing that much time to a single story all at once.

Blonde (2022) - The story of American actress Marilyn Monroe, covering her love and professional lives.
I didn't care for this one. It came across as tawdry, fan fiction. 4/10

I turned it off after about 45 minutes. It just wasn't a world that I wanted to live in for another minute.

Was Ana De Armas' performance the only redeeming thing? She did get an Oscar nom for it.

Ana was amazing. I wonder if people didn't like the movie because it was kind of dark and showed Marilyn being abused. Not a fluff piece like the Queen and Elvis movies where the real juicy stuff is overlooked. None of these movies are completely accurate of course.

Watched Wrath of Man tonight. Well done Guy Ritchie/Jason Statham film. A few plot weak points but overall very good. Also very violent and dark. None of the Guy Ritchie film humor in this one so expect dark and violent all the way through. 7/10

The Menu - 6/10. Horror thriller starring Ralph Fiennes as a renowned chef that starts intriguingly enough, but the last arc of the film left me hungry for more.
